Custom Product Formulation

Natural formulations are our specialty, and we love to create unique and new products for our clients. We research the latest scientific papers and current competitors to give your formulation a market edge. Custom formulations receive 3-5 rounds of R&D per sku, and we sign the recipe and procedure over to you so in your contract so that you never have to start over from scratch again.

Prototype Development

After your custom recipe has been created, most clients want samples to give to their investors, best clients, and social media influencers. We offer an add-on of 100 prototypes for each client project, in sizes up to 2 ounces. This gives you a chance to try out your favorite packaging in small quantities, before committing to spending 5 figures at a large manufacturer. Additional prototypes can be added to your invoice, and the lead time for custom formulation plus prototypes is approximately 4-5 months.

CQB Development Process

Our project starts with a free consultation followed by an NDA and Quote, followed by an Invoice and Formulation Contract. Then our R&D process starts with a review of proposed ingredients and any competitors’ products and reviews. In-depth research on the safety and efficacy of active ingredients occurs, based on your market. Next, we perform 3 or more rounds of R&D, creating 4 different samples each time for your team to try. Once feedback is given, we tweak the formulations to achieve a final, favorite sample. Finally, prototypes are created in your favorite packaging, and once prototypes are shipped, all Quality Documents including Batch Records and Standard Operating Procedures are turned over.
